• Do I have to register my domain name with Internic or do you do that
for me?
We register your domain
(www.yourname.com) for you! Registration is done with no addional charge. Internic is currently the organization that registers
domain names. They will bill you in the amount of $70.00 which is good for the first two
years. After two years, they will bill you $35.00 for each additional year. You are
responsible for the $70.00 registration fee, due to Internic in 30 days.

I am not technically savvy...would a person like me
still be able to administer my account?
Yes! No technical
expertise is necessary. With our Powerscripts Web Control panel, it's as simple as
pointing an clicking! By a click of a button, you can administer mailing lists,
email redirects, password protect directories, and even create/upload your files online
with ease.
• How much disk space do I get for my web pages and graphics?
50, 150 or 300 MB depending
on your hosting plan! Yes, that's right! It might seem a little odd that we're
giving away upto 300 MB with each account, but it's true. Your account
can hold over 15,000 pages with plenty of more room for graphics, sounds, scripts, and
other files!
• What are FrontPage extensions and do you support them?
If you use Microsoft FrontPage 2000 to publish pages to the Net, you will need FrontPage 2000 extensions supported. We support FrontPage 2000 extensions FREE OF CHARGE.
• Can I depend on fast downloading speeds when others access
my site?
YES! We
employ dozens of Dual Processor Intel Pentium II 450MHz servers with each
system running on the highly acclaimed Apache Web Server software
solution. We are also currently running dual
dedicated T3 connections to the GTE/NapNet Internet backbone!
• Do you offer secure server space for transferring credit card
information?
YES! Our servers are equipped with
the latest SSL technology so your customers can safely order your
products or services online! Normally, any text sent from your browser is sent as plain
text. This means that a hacker could potentially intercept the information sent from your
browser and read it. However, by using the secure server (SSL), the
information is encrypted before it is sent. It would be practically impossible
for anyone to decrypt it without knowing the key. You DO NOT have to buy a security
certificate to enable the secure server - you can use ours FREE of charge.

What is a "parked" domain name and how does
it cost?
Parked domains are aliases of
other domains. For example, say we have mary.com parked to your main account at
steve.com. This would mean that anyone who goes to mary.com would automatically go to
steve.com. There is no actual hosting involved with mary.com. Mary.com merely acts as a
nickname to steve.com. Parked domains are available as an option and can be setup for only
a one-time $65 fee.
• Can I upload pages frequently?
Each account comes with one FTP/Telnet
account. You have full access to your space via FTP 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you
can update your site at your leisure.
• How much data transfer do you allow for my web site?
The Basic Plan ($17.95) gives you 2
gigs of monthly transfer and the Advanced Plan ($24.95) give you 6 gigs of monthly
transfer. Our Professional Plan ($29.95) gives you unlimited transfer if you do not
qualify. Your web site will go unmonitored until it reach 8000MB (8gigs) per
month. Go ahead and compare with other providers. Whether you qualify for our Unlimited Hits and Data Traffic program or not, our
traffic allowance surpasses the industry standard.

What is a CGI-bin and do I get one?
A CGI-bin is where you would store
CGI scripts. These "scripts" are used to generate online order forms,
guestbooks, shopping carts, counters, and more! YES, every account comes with a
local CGI-bin with FREE pre-installed scripts!
• What CGI scripts come already installed?
Each account comes with almost a dozen automatically configured and installed cgi-scripts! This will save you many hours of time creating, implementing, and debugging scripts. Here are some of the CGI scripts installed:
• What are autoresponders/infobots and how many do I get?
You can set up autoresponders to
automatically respond to incoming email. For example, if you had an order form which your
customers email to you, you can set up an autoresponder to email the customer a
confirmation message. They're also known as Infobots. There are many
other uses for autoresponders/infobots, such as giving information to people who don't
have access to the Internet but still have an email account. An unlimited amount
of autoresponders can be created with each web hosting account! There is no limit
to the number of autoresponders you can have.
• What are email aliases and how many can I use?
Email aliases are email addresses
that you make up (whatever@yourdomain.com). Any mail sent to these "aliases"
would automatically be forwarded to your existing POP email account or redirected to
another third party POP account. With our advanced mail system, you can
have unlimited email aliases that point to your default address and you
can create up to 1000 email redirects with each web hosting account.
• What about the Traffic Statistical Software?
Traffic analysis software
comes pre-installed with every web hosting account! We have just installed the
new Wusage 6.0. It includes a
top 100 list of the most accessed pages, 3D bar graphs, and extensive log reports!
